Is there a good profit from keeping chickens and selling their eggs?
Simple answer to this is no really. Not on such a small scale as this anyway. The money we do take for our eggs simply goes towards the keeping of our little chickens.
How many eggs does a chicken lay a week?
The Hybrid Hens (mixed breed) like ours normally lay an egg a day.
Is it a good idea to feed chickens with corn?
Not really. They will gorge themselves and just get too full! They need their 'layers pellets' for the goodness that is needed to produce eggs. So just give them a minimal amount for their little treat!
Do you sell your rabbits?
Occasionally, we will sell our rabbits to loving homes.
Can rabbits stay outside in the winter?
Definitely! They actually cope much better outdoors as indoor heat can be a little too much for them.
Are ducks easy to keep?
That are fairly easy but be warned...they are very, very messy!
